‘You Can Have Both’ Founder, Dan Cross announced via his Instagram account that he would be running a ‘YCHB Scholarship Program’ for one lucky member of the public to gain access to his community free of charge for 12 months. This initiative came off the back of a successful launch week for Cross and the YCHB team.
“This scholarship acts as a way for me to give back to the community in a way that is extremely important to me. In my younger years I had various teachers and parents of friends chip in to give me the chance to participate in school excursions, camps and sporting events that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to on my own. I sat back after the launch weekend and was blown away with how many people reached out and either joined the community or shared with me how much the movement resonated with them. I immediately knew the way I wanted to show my appreciation- give someone the chance to gain access to the course that otherwise may have not been able to or felt like they were welcome without an invitation.”
The entry rules were simple and acted as a smart way for Cross’ current following to interact with potential new members: tag a friend who you think deserves the chance to participate, leave a reason why and submit as many entries as you like.
Over the next 7 days the public entered over 200 of their most deserving friends, partners and family members; it seemed to be quite the attention grabber for people who were looking for a more balanced ‘Core 4’.
Once 5pm hit on announcement day, Dan revealed the lucky person to win the 12 month free enrollment was Rose Megaw: wife, mother of 2 boys and multiple business owner from New Zealand. Rose was nominated by her cousin Hannah for her ‘super mum abilities and passionate online mentorship’- seemed like a no brainer for her to be inducted as the newest member of the YCHB community.
Dan has hinted to his followers that the opportunity may only come around a few times a year, so be sure to follow his Instagram account to be notified when The YCHB Scholarship Program rolls around again.
